IFLY has launched a series of drones video and bi-directional data radio links working with ISM band frequency 800Mhz/1.4Ghz/2.3Ghz/2.4Ghz and 2.5Ghz. All the radio links adopt the Altera's Cyclone V and Xilinx's Artix-7 series FPGAs.
All of the drone wireless video radios are built-in world-leading zero-delay video codec algorithm combined with TDMA time-division multiplexing dual communication, high-performance forward error correction FEC and video decoding super error correction, using SVC video algorithm combined with communication algorithm mechanism which greatly improved the system efficiency.
Those technology make the system have these features that are ultra-small size, fast recovery link, super stable bandwidth, long distance, high uplink channel bandwidth and strong uplink bandwidth features.
IFLY technical team optimized the wireless channel 1080p HD video transmission and make the system can smoothly transmit H.264 & H.265 features mixed application encoding format to achieve 1080P60 HD video zero-delay wireless display.
There are multiple radios on the drone including GPS, fly control and so on. Different radio waves are concentrated in a spherical space of 500mm in diameter and the interference signal strength between them is ten times stronger than that of the surrounding WIFI signal or the LTE base station interference signal.
In this case choosing a suitable frequency for long distance, stable and smooth video transmitting and interference avoiding with other RF on board is very important. Considering about this demand, IFLY design their video transmitter with more frequency channel option. The frequency options are 300Mhz-2Ghz and 2.3-2.5GHZ.
For UAV applications, IFLY specially developed S1 serial port multiplexing communication module to support MAVLINK TELEMETRY, RS232 and TTL protocol to connect with flight control and ground station.
The S2 serial communication module can be used to control the PTZ. The S1 and S2 serial ports can be used simultaneously. IFLY Radio Links make Zero-latency 1080P/60 high-definition wireless display, remote control, flight control and payload four in one RF channel, which reduces the number of on-board wireless devices to enable one drone load only one radio station, one antenna and one GPS antenna. It Greatly reduces mutual interference between multiple radios.
